Porcelain Crucibles
Porcelain crucibles are standard equipment for quantitative analysis at extreme temperatures, such as melting, combustion, or annealing (determination of Loss on Ignition). Due to their high thermal resistance (above 1000°C) and chemical stability, they are ideal for use in muffle furnaces. Our range includes both low and high forms, often supplied with lids. Do you need to reliably determine the ash content in a sample or melt materials at temperatures that borosilicate glass cannot withstand? Find the ashing crucible for your analytical task here.
Porcelain crucibles are designed for processes such as ashing and sample calcination (up to 1300 °C). Essential for gravimetry.
Analytical Use
- Cooling: Allow hot crucibles to cool in a desiccator on a porcelain plate.
- Weighing: For precise results, use our weighing tables.
