Libraries
A compound library or chemical library is a collection of stored chemicals typically used in high-throughput screening (HTS) or industrial manufacturing. Depending on their scope (target-specific or diversity-oriented) and design (chemical space or scaffold), compound libraries can be classified as focused bioactive libraries, natural product libraries, fragment libraries, and diversity sets.
These libraries have been validated in biological assays and are widely utilized by research institutions and pharmaceutical companies in screening strategies. Identifying new and robust chemical starting points remains one of the greatest challenges in drug discovery today. TargetMol provides a diverse range of chemical libraries for R&D.
