Histology and biopsy cassettes are designed for tissue fixation, dehydration, and paraffin infiltration. They are made from chemically resistant POM (Polyoxymethylene), withstanding aggressive chemicals like xylene and temperatures up to 60 °C.

Design and Safety

Standard Cassettes: Featuring larger openings for optimal reagent flow with routine samples.
Biopsy Cassettes: With fine mesh for needle and fragmented biopsies to prevent sample loss.

Each cassette features a slanted writing surface. After embedding, they serve as the block base; sections are then mounted on slides and archived in slide storage boxes.
