Annealing Dishes

Porcelain incinerating dishes (ashing dishes), with their shallow and wide shape, are ideal for the annealing or combustion of samples where good air access and uniform heat distribution are required. They are frequently used for determining ash content in organic materials or for burning off filters in quantitative analysis. Do you need to combust the organic matrix of a sample in a muffle furnace to obtain the inorganic residue? Find an incinerating dish suitable for your high-temperature application here.

Specialized porcelain for ash content determination in feed, food, or fuels. The shallow shape ensures optimal oxygen access during incineration.

Gravimetry

  • Process: Calcination in a muffle furnace at temperatures above 800 °C to constant weight.
  • Design: Wide diameter allows for even burning of bulkier samples.
  • Material: Glazed porcelain inert to the resulting ash components.
