Made of polypropylene, for the most efficient heat transfer, as well as an inert surface with low binding capabilities for nucleic acids, proteins and other molecules. By molding the frame portion in a more rigid polymer, the mechanical stability of the strip has been greatly improved compared with traditional single piece products.
- Compatible with the majority of thermal cyclers
- End tabs allow for easy handling and labeling of the strips
- Free from DNase, RNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxin/pyrogen
- The following color variants of the frames for transparent wells are available for color-coding experiments: purple, blue, green, red and black
- Available with an off-the-shelf 2D code, offering an endless supply of unique code combinations
- Available with white wells in black frames for optical assays such as those used in qPCR
