EcoPlex TM Kits
Multiplex detection technology is an immunoassay method based on microspheres (beads). Its principle is similar to the "sandwich" ELISA method: it utilizes antibody-precoated beads to capture antigens, followed by a cocktail incubation of biotinylated antibodies to form a "sandwich" complex. The PE fluorescence intensity on each bead population is then quantified using a flow cytometer.
Elabscience® EcoPlexTM kits enable the simultaneous quantitative measurement of various cytokines, chemokines, growth factors, etc., within a single sample. Therefore, they are widely used in biological studies such as immune regulation, inflammatory response, and tumor metastasis. Compared to traditional ELISA kits, these multiplex kits provide higher detection sensitivity and a wider dynamic range, and are suitable for analyzing cell culture supernatants, EDTA plasma, and serum samples.

List of products
EcoPlex™ kits (by Elabscience®) are high-throughput bead-based multiplex assays allowing for the simultaneous measurement of dozens of analytes (cytokines, chemokines) from a single 25 µl sample.
Technology
- Bead-based Multiplex: Utilizes populations of microspheres with unique "fluorescent barcodes."
- Flow Cytometry: Measurements are performed on Luminex xMAP® systems by identifying bead codes.
- Efficiency: Obtain 30+ results from a sample volume insufficient for even a single standard ELISA.
Ideal for studying "cytokine storms" and complex biomarker discovery. Leverages advanced fluorescent labeling principles.
